2020 Hyundai Palisade Exterior Black

Hyundai has entered the ring to compete for the title of best third-row SUV and it’s going to be a knockout.

The first-ever Hyundai Palisade will be the company’s largest SUV, featuring a bold style and innovative comfort. We can’t wait for its release this summer!

Warning: The following video, content, and 2020 Hyundai Palisade photos used throughout this article may cause you to experience a sudden urge to get behind the wheel of the new Palisade. If you experience this symptom, contact Patterson Hyundai Tyler and we’ll help get you in a new Palisade as soon as it’s available.

Now that we have your attention, let’s take a closer look to see why the Palisade is the SUV to wait for.

Seating and Storage

The Hyundai Palisade provides the spacious seating and available storage you wouldn’t normally find in an SUV that seats eight. The increased size allows for a more spacious interior that provides each passenger with comfort and convenience wherever they are seated, including those in the third row.

Even the smallest of conveniences make a difference when you have a full vehicle. Each passenger will have their own cup holder, and USB ports come standard in the second row with the option to add USB ports in the third row.

For easy access, the second row comes standard with a one-touch button that adjusts the seats forward for passengers needing to access the third row. The third row has available power-folding seats that adjust the bench to recline, fold down flat, and unfold. Get the extra cargo space you need with a push of a button. For the days extra storage space is needed, enjoy the available Hands-free Smart Power Liftgate with Auto Open.

Luxurious Technology

The Hyundai Palisade takes convenience one step further with snazzy tech and a look that provides a first-class feel. The available Quilted Nappa Leather seats, available fully digital instrument cluster, and available 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system are designed to give you a luxurious drive. The touchscreen display features conveniences such as hands-free calling and Apple CarPlay to keep your hands on the wheel as you voice your commands.

Need more tech upgrades? Add the In-car Intercom with Driver Talk/Quiet Mode to easily communicate with each row and mute audio in the back rows. No more distractions from the road caused by yelling over the commotion of a full vehicle.

Innovative Safety

The Palisade is also setting new standards when it comes to safety technology for SUVs. The available Blind View Monitor makes switching lanes easier than ever with cameras located on each side mirror that transmit a video to the instrument panel cluster when turn signals are on. For those busier days, the available Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert feature will send you an alert via a text your smartphone to remind you to check the backseat for precious cargo. With added features such as these, the Palisade has your back in more ways than one.

The Hyundai Palisade comes standard with Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. Additional safety features that can be added on include a Surround View Monitor, Safe Exit Assist, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.

Power and Pricing

Each Palisade comes equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine with 291 horsepower, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive will be available as an upgrade on all trim levels.

While pricing has yet to be released, the Hyundai Palisade’s starting price can be expected to range from $30,000-$50,000, depending on trim level and options. Drivers will be able to choose from seven exterior colors, interior upgrades, and more options to design the perfect Palisade to fit their needs.

Hyundai didn’t just enter the third-row SUV market with the Palisade; they showed up and set a new standard for the SUV.

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade is worth the wait. Get your Palisade this summer at Patterson Hyundai Tyler and discover what you have been missing.
